Phase 2

Phase two – taking control

Once the diagnostics phase is completed control of the business, or parts of it, is the first objective.  Our approach is to be truthful and honest to those affected by our involvement.  We aim to quickly get on the ground and take action, continuously communicating developments and expectations of those delivering to the business’ customers as appropriate.

The liaison with and the securing of external relationships; statutory, supply chain, landlords, sub contractors etc. are critical if the business is to continue to trade and have options for the future.  Our team is expert in this area and have the ability and relationships to deliver continuity.

Tom Peters advocated the need for managers to get out and about, “Management by Walking About”, and “wear out shoe leather” to find out how the teams operate, what they deliver to the customers and how they can be motivated to do their best.  We are hand on operators that practice this approach at all times of the day that operations are trading.  We don’t sit ‘driving’ desks we get out in the business and are hands on operators.

We have a number of key systems and tools that are employed as the business needs are identified.  Again these have been developed over some years and are proven to give the greatest likelihood of success.
